Cedar Recovery is currently hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator at our new Office Based Opioid Treatment Facility in Memphis, TN. 

Cedar Recovery, LLC is an ASAM Level I outpatient treatment facility that employs an array of evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide an integrated model of care of medical, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to treat every patient's individual needs and promote long-term sustainable recovery from substance use disorder. While Cedar Recovery provides care for all substance use disorders, it has a primary focus on treating opioid use disorder with medications such as Buprenorphine and/or Naltrexone (MAT).

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team.  This dual role is responsible for strengthening our presence in the community, building referral networks, and ensuring patients have access to the care they need.  The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between Cedar Recovery, community organizations, healthcare providers, and patients while also supporting business development initiatives that promote the growth and sustainability of our programs. 

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach and Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, treatment centers, social services agencies and local organizations.
  • Represent the Cedar Recovery at community events, health fairs, and outreach activities.
  • Provide education and resources about opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment and the services offered by Cedar Recovery.
  • Develop initiatives to reduce stigma and increase awareness of treatment options
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that align with the mission of Cedar Recovery.
  • Implement marketing and outreach strategies to expand patient referrals and community support.
  • Track and analyze referral trends to measure effectiveness of outreach and business development activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify new opportunities for program expansion and patient access.
  • Act as a liaison to ensure a smooth referral process for patients entering treatment
  • Connect patients and families with community-based support resources.
  • Assist with onboarding new patients by coordinating with intake and clinical staff as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and referral activities.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on community engagement, referral outcomes, and business development initiatives.
  • Assist in developing materials, presentations, and communication tools for outreach and partnership efforts.
  • Must have a deep understanding of Memphis and the ability to network with primary care providers, health departments, non-profits, businesses, community providers, and others. 
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in community outreach, networking or related role.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use treatment, or health services.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel locally for community engagement. 
  • Passion for supporting individual in recovery and reducing barriers to treatment.
